Terms of Service

Last updated: April 7, 2026

Agreement

By accessing or using CyberMatch, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. These terms apply to all users, including employers, candidates, and visitors.

What CyberMatch Does

CyberMatch is a cybersecurity hiring platform that provides job description analysis, recruiter assist tools, role scoping, salary benchmarking, skills assessments, and a public accountability feed called The Wall. Our tools use a combination of rule-based scoring and AI analysis to evaluate job postings and assess skills.

Accounts

You sign in using Google OAuth. By creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information
  • Not share your account access with others
  • Notify us if you believe your account has been compromised
  • Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

We assign a role to your account (employer, candidate, staff, or admin) which determines which features you can access. You may request a role change by contacting us.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Submit fabricated or modified job descriptions to The Wall
  • Use automated tools to scrape, abuse, or overload the platform
  • Circumvent usage limits or billing restrictions
  • Use the platform to harass, defame, or target specific individuals
  • Submit content that is illegal, misleading, or violates the rights of others
  • Attempt to access accounts, data, or features you are not authorized to use

The Wall

The Wall is a public feed of job postings that have been analyzed and scored by CyberMatch. By submitting a job posting to The Wall, you represent that:

  • The posting is real and was publicly available at the URL you provided
  • You have not fabricated or materially altered the posting
  • You understand the submission will be reviewed by our team before publication
  • You grant CyberMatch a license to display the posting publicly, with or without anonymization

Company names are anonymized by default. CyberMatch reserves the right to reject, remove, or modify any Wall submission at any time. The purpose of The Wall is to highlight systemic issues in cybersecurity hiring, not to target individuals or companies.

Billing and Subscriptions

CyberMatch offers a free tier with limited monthly usage and a paid Pro subscription with unlimited access. By subscribing to a paid plan:

  • You authorize CyberMatch to charge your payment method via Stripe on a recurring basis
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled
  • You can cancel at any time through the Stripe billing portal — access continues until the end of the billing period
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis

Free tier limits may change. We will notify active users before reducing free tier allowances.

Intellectual Property

CyberMatch owns the platform, scoring algorithms, recruiter data, salary benchmarks, and all original content on the site.

You own the job descriptions you paste for analysis. We do not claim ownership of your content.

By submitting content to The Wall, you grant CyberMatch a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, reproduce, and analyze the submitted posting for the purposes of the platform.

Disclaimers

CyberMatch is an informational tool. Specifically:

  • Not legal advice. Our analysis does not constitute legal, HR, or employment law guidance.
  • Not financial advice. Salary data is aggregated from public sources and represents estimates, not guarantees.
  • Scores are informational. Reality Scores are based on deterministic rules and market data. They represent our assessment of a posting's alignment with market norms, not an absolute measure of quality.
  • AI features are supplementary. AI-generated content (rewrite suggestions, assessment scoring) may contain errors. Do not rely on AI output as your sole decision-making basis.

Limitation of Liability

CyberMatch is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CyberMatch shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to hiring decisions, salary negotiations, or career choices made based on our tools.

Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, abuse the platform, or engage in activity that harms CyberMatch or other users. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us — all associated data will be permanently removed.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the application. Your continued use of CyberMatch after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
